Anniversary of Korean People's Victory in War to Be Celebrated in Romania

Pyongyang, June 12 (KCNA) -- A Romanian national preparatory committee was inaugurated with due ceremony at the building of the Socialist Party of Romania on June 5 to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Korean people's victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.

Vasile Orleanu, chairman of the Supreme Council of the Party, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee at the inaugural ceremony.

The committee set the days from June 25 to July 27 as a celebration period and decided to organize diverse political and cultural events in the period.
