A ceremony of kicking off the study tour took place before the Monument to the Victorious Battle of Pochonbo in Hyesan City, Ryanggang Province on Wednesday.

The participants laid a floral basket and bouquets before the statue of President Kim Il Sung on the monument and paid tribute to him.

At the ceremony the reporter and speakers underscored the need for the marchers to deeply grasp the revolutionary history and feats of the peerlessly great persons and firmly arm themselves with the revolutionary tradition of Juche.

At the end of the event the marchers went round the monument before visiting the Ryanggang Provincial Revolutionary Museum.
