Citations Awarded to Contributors to Sprucing up Kumsusan Palace

| Pyongyang, June 12 (KCNA) -- The DPRK awarded citations to 5,544 soldiers, officials and other people, youth and students who devoted their warm sincerity and performed shining labor feats in sprucing up the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun as the sacred temple of Juche. The title of DPRK labor hero was awarded to Han Jong Bom and eight others, Order of Kim Il Sung to Cha Hyon Sang and Kim Il Sung Youth Honor Prize 9 others. The title of merited technician was conferred on one person, the title of merited builder on three persons, the title of merited driver on one person, Order of National Flag First Class on 79 persons, Order of Labor on 80 persons, Order of National Flag Second Class on 685 persons, Order of Soldier's Honor First Class on 90 persons, Order of National Flag Third Class on 1,008 persons, Order of Solder's Honor Second Class on 505 persons, Distinguished Military Service Medal on 2 474 persons and Medal of Merit on 599 persons. A decree in this regard was promulgated by the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK on June 12. |
