The Ecuadorian Committee for Supporting Korea's Independent and Peaceful Reunification stated as follows on June 6:

The adoption of the June 15 joint declaration was a successful fruition of the noble idea of the great Generalissimo Kim Jong Il of loving the country and nation.

Korea's reunification should be independently realized by the efforts of the nation itself without fail, free from foreign forces' interference.

The Korean people will surely achieve the independent reunification of the country under the wise leadership of the dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un by smashing every move of the anti-reunification forces.

We send full support and solidarity to the Korean people in their struggle.

The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy and the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea in a joint statement said as follows on June 8:

The publication of the June 15 joint declaration made a breakthrough in the barrier of the division of the Korean nation enforced by the U.S. imperialists, an important event unknown in the history of the division.

The publication of the joint declaration is the result of the energetic leadership and Songun politics of leader Kim Jong Il who made tireless efforts for the country's reunification, true to the idea of President Kim Il Sung.

The south Korean puppet forces and other forces following the U.S. are denying the fundamental principles of the June 15 joint declaration but the Korean people will certainly realize the independent and peaceful reunification of the country in the idea of "By our nation itself".
