The talks between authorities of the south and the north for which the people had craved proved abortive, the organization deplored.

It urged the "government" to work hard to ensure that south-north dialogue is held.

The June 15 joint declaration is a landmark for national reunification, it said, demanding the present "government" sincerely ensure the holding of the joint national events marking the anniversary of the June 15 joint declaration.

It noted it would conduct activities for successful joint national events.
