Korean People's Victory in War to Be Celebrated in Russia

| Pyongyang, June 16 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee of social circles of Russia was inaugurated in Moscow on June 10 to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Korean people's victory in the great Fatherland Liberation War. It was sponsored by the Russian Association for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK. Chairman of the association Victor Petrov was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. It comprises prominent figures of political parties, organizations and institutions. It decided to organize meeting, lecture, film show, photo exhibition and other political and cultural events on the occasion of the anniversary. |
