After its occupation of south Korea, the U.S. had pushed forward the preparations for provoking a war against the DPRK in a premeditated manner and started sudden invasion of the DPRK at last by instigating the south Korean puppet forces.

Under the wise leadership of President Kim Il Sung the army and people of the DPRK resolutely defeated the aggressors and achieved a great victory on July 27, 1953.

The chairman evinced his pledge to widely introduce the undying feats Kim Il Sung performed by leading the war to victory and the Songun leadership exploits of Kim Jong Il.

He also voiced his resolve to activate solidarity movement supporting the heroic Korean people in their dynamic struggle for building a thriving nation and achieving national reunification under the guidance of the dear respected Kim Jong Un, true to the last instructions of General Secretary Kim Jong Il.
