The meeting took place on the road of Hyochon-ri, Kwangjok-myon, Yangju City, Kyonggi Province where the two schoolgirls were killed by a U.S. armored car.

At the meeting speakers said that the GIs hell-bent on the north-targeted war maneuvers ran an armored car over the passing-by schoolgirls, killing them. But the murderers have not yet been punished due to the unequal south Korea-U.S. "Status of Forces Agreement" (SOFA), they lamented.

The GIs are the cause of all misfortune and sufferings, they said, urging the U.S. forces to withdraw from south Korea at an early date.

The shackling SOFA should be abolished at once, they stressed.
