Jong Sung Jo, chairman of the puppet joint chiefs of staff, touring a foreign country aboard a military plane, made belligerent remarks, blustering "resolute counteraction to the north's provocation".

The puppet Ministry of Foreign Affairs has joined the military warmongers in their moves for confrontation with a cry for "high-level strategic dialogue".

Minju Joson Sunday says in a bylined commentary in this regard:

The puppet group is working hard to justify and escalate its reckless moves for confrontation with fellow countrymen with sophism of coping with the "north's provocation" but such rhetoric will not work on anyone.

There may be individuals dancing to the tune of the puppet group's moves for confrontation with fellow countrymen but the DPRK will not be subject to "psychological pressure".

To be frank, the moves for confrontation with fellow countrymen can never be a thing to be proud of. They will only bring into bolder relief the despicable treacherous nature of the puppet forces escalating the tension on the Korean Peninsula and, accordingly, spark off bitter international denunciation.

The group should abandon the bad habit of driving a wedge between the DPRK and other countries and stop the moves of escalating confrontation with fellow countrymen.
