The responsibility rests with the "government" which raised unreasonable demand to the north, the article said, adding:

The "government's" attitude and stubborn demand were problematic and inappropriate from every aspect.

The paper said that south-north talks will not be possible if past mode is dismissed wrong.

Kyunghyang Daily News expressed disappointment over the breakdown of the talks.

The paper stressed that the responsibility for the breakdown of the talks rests with the present "government".

It urged the "government" to reflect on whether it approached the talks with sincerity.

If the Park Geun Hye "government" fails to open the talks, it will face criticism that it made bigger mess of the south-north ties than the Lee Myung Bak's "government".
