Korean People's Victory in War to Be Celebrated in Russia

Pyongyang, June 18 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee for celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Korean people's victory in the great Fatherland Liberation War was inaugurated at the Karelia-DPRK Friendship Association of Russia on June 10.

Victor Yegorov, chairman of the association, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee.

The preparatory committee set the celebration period from June 10 to July 28 and decided to hold colorful political and cultural events to widely introduce the undying exploits President Kim Il Sung performed by bringing about a victory in the war.
