U.S. Urged to Opt for Dialogue with DPRK
Pyongyang, June 19 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the Federation of Koreans in the U.S. on June 16 released a commentary demanding the U.S. respond to the DPRK's proposal for dialogue.

The commentary recalled that the spokesman for the DPRK National Defence Commission in a crucial statement on the same day proposed the U.S. to hold high-level talks between the authorities of the DPRK and the U.S.

The proposal was made at a time when U.S. and south Korea were resorting to military provocations against the DPRK, the commentary said. This fully proves that it is the DPRK which wants peace,

It urged the U.S. not to evade dialogue while claiming the preservation of the UN resolutions but to stop acts of inciting the military tensions with nuclear weapons, lift "sanctions" against the DPRK and respond to its proposal, though belatedly.
