The adoption of the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration was the greatest exploit by general secretary Kim Jong Il in the cause of national reunification.

The preservation and implementation of the declaration will help accelerate Korea's reunification.

The dean of the art faculty of the Dubreka Art College of Guinea referred to the validity and vitality of the June 15 joint declaration the basic idea of which is "By our nation itself", adding:

Today the Korean nation is making nation-wide push to bring about a new era of reunification and prosperity by thoroughly maintaining and implementing the June 15 joint declaration.

The world public wholeheartedly hopes that the Korean nation will reunify the country as soon as possible under the banner of the joint declaration and reliably ensure the peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula.
