He highly praised Kim Jong Il for performing distinguished exploits in party building and activities for nearly half a century since his start of work at the Central Committee of the WPK.

He went on:

It was thanks to the leadership of Kim Jong Il that the WPK could become a powerful party remaining strongly independent in its stand despite all sorts of storms and stresses and trials of history.

He expressed belief that the army and people of the DPRK would surely achieve shining successes in their struggle for defending socialism and building a reunified and prosperous nation under the wise leadership of the dear respected Kim Jong Un.
