L. Shukolinikov, chairman of the Permanent Committee of the Belarus-DPRK National Friend Association Named after Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee.

The preparatory committee consists of the representatives of the Communist Workers' Party of Belarus, Belarus-DPRK National Friend Association Named after Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, International Social Federation "For the Union and Union's Communist Party" and the National Social Association "For Democracy, Social Progress and Justice".

The preparatory committee decided to organize colorful political and cultural events including meeting and film show on the occasion of the anniversary.
