Pyongyang, June 21 (KCNA) -- The Citizens Solidarity for Democratic Society of south Korea on June 16 released a report disclosing the crimes committed by the prosecution during traitor Lee Myung Bak's rule. The report noted that Lee appointed all chief secretaries for civil administration of Chongwadae who once held posts of chief prosecutors, letting them exercise enormous influence on the prosecution. Almost half of the key posts of the Ministry of Justice and the Prosecution were taken by prosecutors hailing from Taegu, North Kyongsang Province and Korea University, who were related to Lee, it added. The report also dealt with such data as power abuses by the prosecution, the cases which sparked uproar due to the prosecution's wrong investigation, illegal acts committed by the public prosecutor general, the minister of Justice and those who were nominated as candidates for the posts and specific information about those prosecutors who were punished for their involvement in scandals. Citing such data, the organization said: The present chief executive made a proposal for the reform of the prosecution, but she appointed a one time prosecutor as chief secretary for civil administration of Chongwadae, putting the prosecution power under her control. |
