Kim Jong Il's Party Leadership Characterized by Comradeship
Pyongyang, June 21 (KCNA) -- Leader Kim Jong Il was a great man possessed of comradeship as a gifted trait.

The nearly five decades of his leadership over the Workers' Party of Korea clearly showed that the politics based on comradeship always emerges victorious.

His ceaseless inspection tours of military and economic units in his lifetime were prompted by his desire to share the weal and woe with the army and people.

With this desire, he went to meet soldiers in Mt. Osong over the Chol Pass and Panmunjom, the areas in a hailing distance from the enemy's positions, and had photos taken with soldiers with feelings of kinship.

When visiting a newly-married family of a discharged soldier, Kim Jong Il unreservedly gratified his pregnant wife requesting him to make a name for her soon-to-be-born child.

He made time to read all of letters sent by people and reply to them.

His absolute trust in the army and the people led to the birth of the Songun (military-first) politics and the development of the Korean People's Army into an invincible army.

Comradeship between the leader and his people made the DPRK successfully conclude the arduous march, the forced march and dash toward the rosy future of a powerful nation.

This comradeship has been creditably carried forward by respected Marshal Kim Jong Un.

The army and people of the DPRK are now energetically pushing ahead with the building of a thriving nation, closer rallied around him on the basis of comradeship.
