S. Korean Puppet Prosecution Accused of Covering Crimes

Pyongyang, June 22 (KCNA) -- Ten organizations of south Korea including the Bar Association for Democratic Society, the Teachers Trade Union and the Citizens Solidarity for Democratic Society held a joint press conference on June 18 accusing the puppet prosecution of announcing its investigation results covering the crimes committed by the Intelligence Service.

The organizations recalled that on June 14 the prosecution announced the results of investigation into the case of the Intelligence Service's interference in politics.

They assailed the authorities for canceling an indictment against staff members of the IS involved in the case and taking no action to punish those policemen concerned who worked hard to cover the crimes of the IS.

However, the authorities indicted a discloser of illegal acts of the IS on the charge of "leakage of secret" and this is just like a thief crying "Stop the thief!" the organizations held.

The prosecution has already confirmed through investigation the crimes of the IS and police's interference with the investigation into them, they said, adding: Intolerable is that the authorities decided not to indict those criminals.

Underlining the need to reveal the whole story about all the illegal acts of the IS, they said, urging the "National Assembly" to opt for making investigation into the state administration.
