The IS's interference in politics committed in the past "presidential election" was an action of trampling down democracy by illegally abusing power, the declaration charged.

It pressed for a stern punishment of Won Se Hun, former director of the IS, and others responsible for the case.

It condemned the police for downsizing the investigation into the case and patronizing those involved in the case.

The "government" and the "Saenuri Party" should make investigation into the state administration, being held wholly responsible for the case, it said, warning that if they turn down this demand, we will rise up together with all people on this land.

Meanwhile, students of Yonsei University, Korea University, Ehwa Women's University, Sookmyung Women's University, Dongguk University, Duksung Women's University and Kyonggi University published declarations on the situation or expressed their will to join them.
