The revolutionary site is a historic place which President Kim Il Sung visited in April, Juche 40 (1951) when the war was in its height, personally unrolled an operational plan for defending the east coastal areas, met with commanding officers and model combatants of the combined unit of the Korean People's Army to encourage them to perform new feats.

There are in the revolutionary site a mountain hut, desk and other historic relics which convey the story that the President drew arrows on the operational map all night by lamp light.
