Marchers to Revolutionary Sites Tour Puldanggol, Chol Pass
Pyongyang, June 22 (KCNA) -- The group of service personnel of the Korean People's Army marching to the revolutionary sites in front areas left Chongdu-ri, Kumgang County on June 17. It arrived at the Puldanggol Revolutionary Site associated with the noble footprints of the great Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il. They looked round relics with keen interest, being briefed that Kim Il Sung mounted Mt. Jihye, the foremost front, shrouded in artillery smoke on September 23, Juche 40 (1951) to lead the battle on Height 1211 to victory and then called at a farmer's in Puldanggol to show warm loving care and put trust in the owner of the house.

The marchers laid bouquets before mosaics portraying the kind images of the Generalissimos and paid tribute.

After going round the cemetery of fallen fighters of the Korean People's Army in Kumgang township, they had a meeting with war veterans residing in Hoeyang township and conducted diverse political and cultural activities.

At a meeting to pledge revenge on enemies that was held on June 19, soldiers voiced their resolve to show the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean group of traitors the real taste of the powerful revolutionary Paektusan army, the real taste of war.

Soldiers took firing positions and fired at targets with direct hit with thousand-fold revenge on the enemies.

On June 22, the marchers arrived at Chol Pass reflective of the Songun revolutionary leadership of the peerlessly great men.

They laid bouquets before the Cholryong Monument to Revolutionary Activities of the Generalissimos and looked back on the way to the forefront covered by them despite rain and snow for the country and the people.

A briefing on the greatness of the Generalissimos took place before the monument.
