The secretary of the Yangon Regional Committee of the Union Solidarity and Development Party of Myanmar said as follows:

We are looking back with deep emotion upon the immortal exploits of Kim Jong Il who strengthened and developed the WPK into a party of President Kim Il Sung and an invincible steel-strong party.

The protracted, shining history of the WPK marks days of brilliant achievements in which the whole party and army and all the people have met all sorts of challenges by the hostile forces and accelerated socialist construction in firm unity under the leadership of the great leaders.

Kim Jong Un, supreme leader of the Korean people, is leading the WPK to victory.

The future of the WPK and the Korean people led by him is rosy.

The vice-chairman of the Kimilsungia-Kimjongilia Association in Guinea praised the immortal party-building exploits by Kim Jong Il. Even though he passed away, the WPK is holding him in high esteem as its eternal general secretary, he noted.

The president of the Canar Provincial Institute for Friendship and Solidarity with the DPRK of Ecuador said that Kim Jong Il's party-building feats would shine forever with the socialist cause.
