The France-Korea Friendship Association posted an article on June 14:

June 15, 2000 was a historic day on which the north-south joint declaration for peace and reunification of Korea was published.

The north and the south of Korea published the joint declaration and opened up the June 15 era of reunification thanks to the energetic activities conducted by leader Kim Jong Il to carry out the behests of President Kim Il Sung for national reunification.

The north and the south laid the foundation for the peaceful reunification of the country by removing misunderstanding and mistrust and achieving great unity of the nation and its co-prosperity under the uplifted banner of the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration.

The France-Korea Friendship Association will wage a more dynamic movement for solidarity to praise Kim Jong Il who devoted his all to defusing tensions and achieving reconciliation on the Korean Peninsula and realizing the cause of national reunification, and to support the just cause of the Korean people.

The Nigerian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea posted an article titled "Monuments calling for reunification" on the same day:

The Korean nation was divided into the north and the south owing to the foreign forces since the Second World War. The DPRK has waged a persistent struggle for reunification for nearly seventy years. In this course peculiar monuments reflecting desire for reunification have been built in the country.

The Peruvian-Korean Institute of Culture and Friendship, Kim Jong Il Library in Ecuador and the Juche Youth Group of Ecuador on June 4 and 5 posted articles supporting the joint declaration, denouncing the U.S. and south Korean puppet forces for their anti-reunification moves and calling upon the south Korean authorities to opt for implementing the joint declaration in the spirit of "By our nation itself".
