Vital Rights of Part-time Workers Demanded in S. Korea

Pyongyang, June 24 (KCNA) -- A mass rally took place at the plaza of Seoul Railway Station on June 22 in support of the vital rights of school part-time workers, according to CBS of south Korea.

It was attended by more than 10,000 unionists under the Solidarity Council of School Part-time Workers.

Its participants demanded the authorities guarantee the school part-timers stable employment and improve their living conditions.

It was reported that at least 3,500 members of the Headquarters of School Part-time Workers under the Public Transport Trade Union and over 500 members of the Women's Trade Union held meetings at Sodaemun and Jongro districts to join the rally.
