Jon Yong Nam, chairman of the Central Committee of the Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League, made a report to be followed by speeches.

The reporter and speakers said that the U.S. imperialists savagely destroyed cities, villages, factories, farming and fishing villages, schools, etc. in the DPRK, killing innocent people at random during the past Korean war.

The servicepersons and people of the DPRK, rallied close around the great Generalissimo Kim Il Sung, turned out as one in the sacred war to defend the freedom and independence of the country and shattered to smithereens the myth of the U.S. imperialists' "mightiness", fully demonstrating the spirit of heroic Korea, they noted, and went on:

The U.S. imperialists remain unchanged in their aggressive nature. The enemies have staged madcap war exercises for invading the DPRK after introducing nuclear war means of various types to the Korean Peninsula and waters off it, pushing the situation to the brink of a war.

The socialist homeland is like an impregnable fortress as long as it is led by the dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un and there are the powerful revolutionary Paektusan army and the Songun young vanguard fully ready to take revenge on the U.S. imperialists and class enemies.

The reporter and speakers called on the youth to get united as one behind Kim Jong Un to achieve a final victory in the all-out action against the U.S. and successfully carry forward and accomplish the revolutionary cause of Juche generation after generation.

Ringing out at the meeting were such slogans as "Let us defend with our very lives the Party Central Committee headed by the great Comrade Kim Jong Un!", "Let us carry out the great Comrade Kim Il Sung and Comrade Kim Jong Il's instructions for national reunification!"
