The speakers said that the U.S. imperialists who stretched out their dark tentacles of aggression to Korea as early as a hundred odd years ago illegally occupied south Korea, ignited a war of aggression against the DPRK on June 25, 1950 and imposed untold misfortune and sufferings on the Korean people.

The army and the people of the DPRK, rallied close around the Workers' Party of Korea and the leader, waged a heroic struggle and resolutely beat back the armed invasion by the U.S.-led imperialist allied forces, the speakers said, adding:

The DPRK inflicted shameful defeat on the U.S. imperialists who boasted of being "the strongest" in the world and achieved the shining victory, a result of the wise leadership of Kim Il Sung, an invincible and iron-willed commander and outstanding strategist.

The speakers expressed belief that the Korean people will reunify the country and achieve success in building a thriving socialist nation under the Songun leadership of the dear respected Kim Jong Un, holding in high esteem Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il forever.

A letter to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting.

Present there were captains and crewmen of a Panamanian-flagged ship and a Kiribati-flagged ship.
