A floral basket was laid before the monument to Kim Jong Il's visit to the Bureya Hydro-electric Plant with due ceremony, the opening of a Korean book and fine art exhibition was held in Amursk District of Khabarovsk Territory and a meeting in Sankt-Peterburg on June 11 and 19.

After laying a floral basket before the monument, the acting manager of the Bureya Hydro-electric Plant said:

The employees of the plant always remember Kim Jong Il's visit to it on Aug. 21, 2011.

The monument erected to mark the first anniversary of his visit to Siberia and Far East Region of the Russian Federation will shine forever with the history of the plant.

The chief executive of Amursk District of Khabarovsk Territory said that the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries are steadily developing.

The chairman of the Russian Society for Promoting the Study and Dissemination of Comrade Kim Jong Il's Works said that he grew up in the crucible of the anti-Japanese revolutionary war and the Fatherland Liberation War (Korean War).

Kim Jong Il led the Korean revolution to one victory after another with his outstanding leadership ability despite all ordeals and difficulties, the chairman said, adding:

It was the biggest exploit performed by him that he turned the DPRK into the powerful socialist bulwark, a nuclear weapons state and a satellite manufacturer and launcher the like of which is a few in the world.

The dear respected Kim Jong Un has led the Korean revolution to victory by carrying forward the cause of President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

He is invariably holding high the slogan "We Serve the People!" true to the intention of Kim Jong Il.
