UN Didn't Command Forces during Korean War: UN

| Pyongyang, June 26 (KCNA) -- The deputy spokesperson of the UN Secretary General made clear on June 21 that the UN didn't command any unit during the Korean War that was fought in the 1950s. At a news briefing the spokesperson said the UN didn't play any role in commanding forces deployed on the Korean Peninsula, the units which conducted operations in Korea, being affiliated to the south Korea-U.S. "Combined Forces Command" from 1950 to 1953, in particular. |
