Declaration on Situation Published in S. Korea
Pyongyang, June 26 (KCNA) -- The Youth Solidarity of south Korea published a declaration on the situation on June 20 in protest against the Intelligence Service's interference in politics.

The declaration said it has been fully disclosed that the IS misled public opinion in an organized way through the Psychological Information Bureau at the instruction of Won Se Hun, former director of the IS, with the approach of the 2012 "presidential election."

The course of investigation into the IS's illegal interference in the election also clarified that Kim Yong Phan, former director of the Seoul District Police Agency, and the minister of Justice issued instructions to downplay and conceal the case and ordered non-restraint investigation into Won Se Hun, it noted.

The non-restraint indictment made against Won alone over such hideous crime is little short of regarding the people as scarecrow, it held.

Young people are now recollecting the history in which they fought for social democracy against the dictatorial regime, it said, adding: We cannot remain a passive onlooker to the situation where democracy is being trampled down ruthlessly by government power.

More than 100 000 people have signed the signature papers in four days demanding a state investigation into the IS's interference in the election, it noted, stressing the resentment of the people at the government power's organized injustice is running high.

It demanded Won Se Hun and Kim Yong Phan be arrested and punished, the state investigation be made into the IS's interference in politics and the present chief executive apologize to the people.

The present chief executive should bear in mind what disgraceful end the erstwhile dictatorial regimes met, it said, warning she will face stronger resistance of the people if she does not take immediate steps.
