U.S. Has No Justification to Commemorate Korean War: Rodong Sinmun
Pyongyang, June 26 (KCNA) -- Shortly ago, the U.S. secretary of Defence made a "congratulatory speech" at the opening ceremony of the "Korean War Memorial" held at the building of the U.S. Department of Defence. He made much fuss, praising Korean War veterans present there as "brave soldiers." The south Korean puppet ambassador to the U.S. said that now is the time to recall the Korean War being called "forgotten war" as "forgotten victory".

Rodong Sinmun Wednesday says in a bylined article in this regard:

Lurking behind the above-said "memorial event" was a criminal attempt to occupy the whole of Korea.

The last Korean War was the first war of aggression ignited by the U.S. imperialists after the Second World War, it notes, and goes on:

The U.S. imperialists have no justification to commemorate the Korean War in the light of the background against which it ignited the war and its outcome.

The U.S. warmongers have never given up their attempt to invade the DPRK.

Even at this time, the U.S. is watching for a chance to provoke another Korean war of aggression after deploying its huge troops and amassing a lot of war means including nuclear weapons in the vicinity of the Korean Peninsula.

The DPRK will strike every place where the U.S. forces of aggression are stationed and blow up the strongholds of aggression if they dare ignite the second Korean war.

If the U.S. bellicose forces start the war, they will sustain the bitterest defeat in their history.

The U.S. would be well advised to always remember the lamentable confession made by generals of the U.S. forces that the U.S. fought a wrong war with a wrong rival and in the wrong place.
