Pyongyang, June 26 (KCNA) -- An increasing number of families in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea are making painstaking efforts for the sake of the country and the people. When visiting the Yuphyong Revolutionary Site some days ago, respected Marshal Kim Jong Un praised the family of Kang Hye Gyong, a lecturer, for her family with a strong sense of patriotism and had a photo taken with her family members. Kang, her husband and daughter are working at the revolutionary site, a reminder of President Kim Il Sung's enduring feats in leading the Fatherland Liberation War to victory. Among others is the family of Sim Tong Su , a teacher of Pyongyang University of Mechanical Engineering, which Kim Jong Un called a praiseworthy teachers' family when visiting his new house in Changjon Street, Pyongyang, last year. On a way to field guidance, leader Kim Jong Il met Kim Song Nyo and her family members, who are road cleaners, on Kubong Pass in Jagang Province on August 31, Juche 89 (2000) and spoke highly of their devoted service for the country. Hong Yong Hwa in Pothonggang District, Pyongyang and her two sons and their wives all work as barbers, enjoying high respect from customers. Pak Kyong Nam and his sisters work at the Pongsan County Forestry Management Station in North Hwanghae Province for decades. In those years, they cultivated 150 000 saplings of larch, 80,000 saplings of pine-nut tree and other saplings of good species of trees each year. Families of Jo Ok Sun in Manpho City, Jagang Province and Choe Sang Ok in Unryul County, South Hwanghae Province are well known in the country for their good jobs for the army, the collective and society for ten odd years. |
