The Indian paper New Delhi Times on June 17 dedicated a whole page to articles including "The great leader of mother party" together with his photo.

The paper introduced at length the undying exploits he performed by putting forth the Juche-oriented idea and theory of building a party and fully embodying them, thereby developing the WPK into the revolutionary party of Juche type.

The June 17-23 issue of the Lao paper Heng Ngan ran an article titled "Eternal general secretary of WPK" which said that he developed the WPK into the mother party serving the popular masses by forming a harmonious whole with them and the invincible party with steel-strong discipline.

He meant the WPK for the Korean people and the WPK is like a mother as it looks after their destiny and future, the article stressed.

The Indonesian paper Suara Karya on June 14 carried an article titled "New strategic line" introducing the WPK's new strategic line on simultaneously pushing forward economic construction and the building of nuclear force.
