The contest took place in Pyongyang, Phyongsong and Hamhung cities. Players fully displayed their skills they have trained through extracurricular sports activities, collectivism and high morality in the contest.

They competed in basketball, volleyball, table-tennis, rhythmic gymnastics, etc. The contest was held in three stages, divided into senior and junior secondary schools and primary schools. Players of Pyongyang City came first in team standings.
