The work, published on June 29, Juche 82 (1993), clarifies the essence of the Juche-oriented circus and its historic roots, formal nature, main principle in creating circus pieces and tasks and ways for implementing it and the orientation for its development.

Pak Su Ok, general director of the National Circus, in his report said that the work serves as powerful ideological and theoretical weapon for steadily developing the Juche-oriented circus art and important guidelines for the revolutionary circus art contributing to building a thriving socialist nation and ushering in a heyday of high civilization in the 21st century.
