Watching the data and relics on display, he looked back with deep emotion upon the immortal leadership exploits of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il associated with the factory.

Going round various places including the assembling and processing shops, he learnt in detail about the production and modernization of equipment.

At the assembling shop he was very pleased to see the shop full of machines.

He had machines operated to learn about their performance and effectiveness.

At the processing shop he acquainted himself with the operation and modernization of equipment.

Looking round machine accessory and tool stores, he said that making such full preparations is important for keeping production going at a high rate.

After learning in detail about the CNC-based equipment, he said that there is a sharp difference between updated and old equipment in performance, appearance and operation.

Noting that the factory is of a great significance in developing the country's machine-building industry, he set forth tasks to be fulfilled by the factory.

Underling the need for the factory to keep the production going at a high rate and fulfill its plan without fail, he said that the related units should send quality steel and high-performance cooperative products in time.

He said the factory should produce world-level machinery good in use and suitable to the actual conditions of the country.

With competent technicians, workers strong in the revolutionary spirit and solid foundation, the factory should decisively improve the existing standard in the development and production of machinery, he said.

The factory should make efforts to manufacture multi-purpose and multi-function machines surpassing the world's advanced ones in performance and technical specification and to base the production on locally available materials, he added.

Saying that if the factory updates the equipment, it can save manpower and enhance the production capacity and quality of the products, he took measures necessary for the modernization of equipment.

Expressing expectation that the employees of the factory would register bigger successes in the production, he had a photo session with them.
