Nepali Paper Explains Validity of DPRK's New Strategic Line
Pyongyang, July 1 (KCNA) -- The Nepali paper Nepal Today on June 25 carried an article titled "New strategic line." It explained the validity of the line on simultaneously pushing forward economic construction and the building of nuclear force laid down in the March, 2013 Plenary Meeting of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.

The paper said:

The new strategic line of the DPRK was prompted by the requirements of the prevailing situation.

The DPRK's decision to continue bolstering the nuclear force both in quality and quantity was quite natural and a wise option as the U.S., the world's biggest nuclear weapons state, poses extreme nuclear threats to the DPRK.

The new strategic line is the most realistic one suited to the actual conditions of the country which aims to build a thriving socialist nation.

The era has gone never to return when the U.S. threatened the DPRK with nukes and used to put a brake on its economic construction.

The world will clearly see how mercilessly the DPRK thwarts the imperialists and their followers' war threat by dint of tremendous nuclear deterrence and builds a thriving socialist nation without fail.
