The Russian Group for Solidarity with the DPRK in a statement denounced the U.S. for igniting the Korean War to stifle the young DPRK and employing the most brutal means and methods.

The U.S. ceaseless war exercises against the DPRK and its moves for arms buildup clearly show who is the arch criminal screwing up the tensions on the Korean Peninsula, the statement said.

The Peruvian Committee for Solidarity with Peoples in a statement praised the great Generalissimo Kim Il Sung as an invincible and iron-willed commander who led to victory the Fatherland Liberation War with his outstanding strategy and tactics, bringing about the beginning of a downhill turn for the U.S. imperialists.

It urged the U.S. to make prompt response to the DPRK's proposal for talks and conclude a peace treaty with the latter.

The Russian Society for Promoting the Study and Dissemination of Comrade Kim Jong Il's Works in an appeal noted that to embody the Songun idea and Songun politics, legacy of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il, guarantees genuine freedom and independence of the country and durable peace of the whole world.

The appeal urged the U.S. to withdraw its troops from south Korea and stop interfering in the internal affairs of Korea.
