Composite Ceramic Tool Developed in DPRK

| Pyongyang, July 1 (KCNA) -- A new kind of composite ceramic tool was developed jointly by Kim Chaek University of Technology and the Pyongyang Textile Machine Factory. The tool is a cutting chip made with reinforcing agent, based on locally available materials, as additives. It has been put into production, being widely applied to CNC lathes and other machines at different factories. The new kind can be used 1.2 times longer than other kinds. |
