On display at the venue of the ceremony were photos documenting the undying feats of President Kim Il Sung in the Fatherland Liberation War, the Songun exploits of leader Kim Jong Il and the revolutionary activities of the dear respected Kim Jong Un.

Present there on invitation were officials of the Cuban Committee for Supporting Korea's Reunification, the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples and the farm and other people. The DPRK ambassador to Cuba and staff members of his embassy were invited there.

Juan Jose Leon Vega, first vice-chairman of the Cuban Committee for Supporting Korea's Reunification, said as follows:

63 years have passed since the U.S. imperialists ignited a war against the DPRK by instigating the south Korean puppet forces on June 25, 1950.

The Korean army and people honorably defended the country by displaying the spirit of defending the fatherland and matchless bravery under the wise leadership of the President.

The war ended but the Korean people are still suffering misfortune and pain.

We will make positive efforts for Korea's independent and peaceful reunification to which Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il dedicated their whole lives and Kim Jong Un is devoting all his energies.

Cuba and the DPRK stand together in the anti-imperialist joint front.

The U.S. imperialists can never break the will of the two peoples.

We send invariable support and solidarity to the Korean people in their struggle for the country's independent and peaceful reunification.
