Present at the talks from the DPRK side were members of its military delegation led by Kim Kyok Sik, chief of the General Staff of the Korean People's Army, DPRK Ambassador to Cuba Jon Yong Jin and the military, naval and air attache of the DPRK embassy and from the Cuban side Leopoldo Cintra Frias, minister of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Cuba, and other officials concerned.

Both sides informed the situation of their countries and exchanged views on boosting the friendly relations between the two armies and peoples of the two countries.

The talks proceeded in a comradely and friendly atmosphere.
