The magazine gave an account of the dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un's inspection of Unit 1017 of the Air and Anti-Air Force of the Korean People's Army, illustrated with photos showing his guidance of a flight drill of the unit.

It also carried news of his on-the-spot guidance to the Namhung Youth Chemical Complex, accompanied by his photos.

Seen in it is a photo of the monument inscribed with the great Generalissimo Kim Il Sung's signature erected in Panmunjom under the title "Monument reflecting nation's desire" on the occasion of the 13th anniversary of the June 15 joint declaration. It carried an article saying that the joint declaration is a programme, a new landmark for reunifying the country under the banner of "By our nation itself".

The magazine contained the crucial statement issued by the spokesman for the National Defence Commission of the DPRK proposing high-level talks between the authorities of the DPRK and the U.S., the statement released by the spokesman for the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea laying bare the true nature of the south Korean authorities which aborted the talks between authorities of the north and the south and reports issued by Russian media on the recent situation on the Korean Peninsula.

It gave an account of a seminar held by Russian experts on Korean affairs on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Korean people's victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.
