Rodong Sinmun Brands U.S., S. Korea as Provoker of Korean War

Pyongyang, July 3 (KCNA) -- The U.S. and south Korean puppet authorities launched anti-DPRK campaign on the occasion of June 25, day of the start of the Korean War, to publicize the story of "invasion of the south" by the DPRK. However, they can not cover up their bellicose nature as they ignited the Korean War in the 1950s and have been hell-bent on the military provocations against the DPRK, being obsessed with the ambition for invasion of it after the war. Rodong Sinmun Wednesday says this in a bylined article. The last Korean War was an inevitable product of the U.S. brigandish policy for aggression of Korea, the article notes, and goes on: After the Second World War the U.S. militarily occupied south Korea to dominate the whole Korean Peninsula and the rest of Asia. Bolstering up the armed forces of south Korea, the U.S. instigated south Korea to kick up the reckless racket of the "northward advance". Even after the ceasefire, the U.S. stayed in south Korea to block the independent and peaceful reunification of Korea and disturb peace and stability of the Korean Peninsula, while bringing about dark clouds of a nuclear war. The U.S. and south Korea have so far massively hurled armed forces for aggression into the Korean Peninsula and frantically resorted to the joint military exercises against the DPRK, vociferating about "invasion of the south". Their noisy story about "invasion of the south" and "provocations by the north" on the occasion of June 25 only brings to light their wicked true colors as provoker of the Korean War and disturber of peace. |
