On display in the venues of the events were photos documenting immortal exploits of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and the dear respected Kim Jong Un.

Guy Dupre, secretary general of the International Liaison Committee for Reunification and Peace in Korea who is delegate president of the France-Korea Friendship Association, said that July 27 is the historic day marking the 60th anniversary of the Korean people's victory in the great Fatherland Liberation War under the leadership of the President Kim Il Sung. He went on:

I pay the highest tribute to Kim Il Sung, who led the war fought to beat back the U.S. imperialists' aggression to victory, and Kim Jong Il, who foiled moves of the imperialist allied forces to stifle the DPRK by dint of Songun politics and firmly defended its sovereignty and dignity.

The world peace-loving forces are voicing full support for the Korean people in their just cause of resolutely struggling against the hostile policy toward the DPRK and the moves of the U.S.-led imperialist allied forces to start a nuclear war.

Miroslav Stepan, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Czechoslovak Communist Party, said that the Korean people's victory in the Fatherland Liberation War proved the fact that no force on earth can overpower the might of the people who turned out in the struggle to defend the country under the leadership of the great leader and marked a historic event which shattered the myth of the "mightiness" of the U.S. for the first time in history.

Atanas Ivanov, honorary chairman of the Bulgarian Communists Union, praised Kim Il Sung, invincible and iron-willed commander, for leading the hard-fought three-year-long Fatherland Liberation War to victory with his unique strategy, tactics and war methods.

A congratulatory message to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting held in Bulgaria.
