Pyongyang, July 5 (KCNA) -- The Nigerian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea posted articles on its website on June 26 and 28 to mark the 60th anniversary of the Korean people's victory in the great Fatherland Liberation War. An article titled "Battle for liberating Taejon" said: The DPRK worked many military miracles in the Korean war by which the myth of the "mightiness" of the U.S. was shattered. The battle in Taejon, a typical example of modern siege warfare, draws keen attention from world strategists. President Kim Il Sung led the battle to victory with his superb war method which no one could ever conceive. It was a unique war method that he made sure that the KPA completely encircled and wiped out a huge group of the enemy through a combination of a fierce frontal attack and prompt bypass movement. The article "Justice is sure to triumph" introduced bold countermeasures taken by the DPRK such as the third underground nuclear test for coping with the U.S. and its allied forces' undisguised moves to stifle it over its satellite launch for peaceful purposes, adding: The DPRK's nuclear deterrence serves as a means for legitimate self-defence which it was compelled to acquire to cope with the U.S. increased hostile policy and nuclear threat and a just treasured sword for defending the sovereignty of the country and nation, peace and security. It is the DPRK's resolute decision and will to root out the source of evil, the U.S. The world people aspiring after justice and progress are supporting the Korean people standing firm against the U.S. and its followers keen on highhanded and arbitrary practices. Victory is in store for the justice and the Korean people all out in the struggle to defend their sovereignty. |
