Remembrance Meeting of Foreign Crewmen Held

Pyongyang, July 5 (KCNA) -- A remembrance meeting of foreign crewmen took place at Hungnam Port Friday on the occasion of the 19th anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung. They laid bunches of flowers before the statues of Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il in Hamhung City, South Hamgyong Province and paid tribute to them. At the meeting speakers said that the President embarked on the road of the revolution in his early years, founded the immortal Juche idea and led the revolution and construction to victory. His whole life was the shining one totally dedicated to the country, people and humankind, they noted, adding: The President, the most outstanding leader and legendary great man in the 20th century, performed immortal feats before the era and the history with his iron will, matchless pluck and noble personality. He will always be alive in the hearts of not only the Korean people but progressives. The revolutionary cause of Juche pioneered by him will be successfully accomplished by the dear respected Kim Jong Un. The speakers extended full support and solidarity to the Korean people in their drive to accelerate the building of a thriving nation, rallied close around Kim Jong Un. A letter to him was adopted at the meeting. Present at the meeting were the captain and crewmen of a Panamanian-flagged ship. |
