Day of Korean People's Victory in War to Be Celebrated Abroad

| Pyongyang, July 6 (KCNA) -- Preparatory committees for celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Korean people's victory in the great Fatherland Liberation War were formed in the Slovak Republic on June 29 and in Nakhodka, Russia on July 1. Ivan Draxler, chairman of the Slovakia-Korea Friendship Association, and Vasily Andreyevich Chernikh were elected chairmen of the preparatory committees. The committees decided to give wide publicity the undying exploits President Kim Il Sung performed by leading the war to victory and organize colorful political and cultural events on the occasion of the anniversary. |
