The speakers said that they are soon to mark the lapse of six decades since the conclusion of the Armistice Agreement on the Korean Peninsula where a touch-and-go situation has persisted.

They underscored the need to conclude a peace treaty on the peninsula for the peace, saying they can no longer live being exposed to the threat of a nuclear war.

The peace treaty can be achieved only when the progressives carry on the struggle in unity, they said, adding that this is the way for defending the nation.

They said they would tour different parts till July 27 under the sponsorship of the People's Action for Peace against War as part of the grand march for concluding the peace treaty on the peninsula.

They called for turning out in the struggle to remove the danger of a war and conclude the peace treaty.
