Speeches were made by Zhang Jinlu, daughter of Chinese anti-Japanese revolutionary martyr Zhang Weihua, Zhou Wei, daughter of Zhou Baozhong who was related to the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle, and the son of Feng Zhongyun.

Recollecting with deep emotion the great loving care shown by the President for them, they highly praised the undying exploits he performed by dedicating himself to the liberation and independence of the country and nation, socialist construction and the cause of national reunification all his life.

Saying that he worked heart and soul for the development of the Sino-Korean friendship provided by him together with revolutionaries of the elder generation of China, they stressed that the Chinese people would always remember him as their close friend.
