Line of March, organ of the Revolutionary Communist Party of Britain (Marxist-Leninist), noted Kim Il Sung firmly defended the independence and sovereignty of the country and made undying contribution to the world revolution by wisely leading the anti-imperialist national liberation struggle. He was the founder of the Workers' Party of Korea, father of socialist Korea and eternal President of the DPRK, it added.

The Finnish National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea in an article posted on its website said the wise leadership of Kim Il Sung who dedicated his whole life to the accomplishment of independence of the popular masses greatly encouraged the oppressed people who were languishing, being subject to aggression and plunder by imperialism.

The chairman of the Nigeria-Korea Friendship Association said Kim Il Sung was the most prominent statesman in the 20th century who enjoyed absolute support and trust by the popular masses throughout his life for his outstanding idea, leadership ability and noble traits.

The chief of the Information Department of the Struggle for the Peace and Socialism of Italy said Kim Il Sung was a great father of the people who devoted himself to the happiness of the people.

Noting people call Korea Kim Il Sung's Korea, a Senegalese paper said the DPRK is just the country which was built under his leadership.
