The Brazilian Committee for Solidarity with the DPRK posted on its website an article titled "Kim Il Sung, holding aloft the banner of independence" illustrated with a photo of him waving back to the cheering crowd.

The article said that Kim Il Sung, the founder of socialist Korea, performed undying exploits for the era and history, holding high the banner of independence.

It went on:

He worked heart and soul to accomplish the cause of global independence all his life.

He gave lucid answers to the principled issues arising in carrying out the cause of global independence, including the issue of upholding independence in the struggle for peace and struggling against the imperialist aggressor forces through firm unity of the world peace-loving forces and the issue of struggling in unity and achieving unity while waging a struggle.

He sincerely helped other countries in carrying out the cause of independence against imperialism.

The Brazilian Committee for Remembering Leader Kim Jong Il carried an article titled "Kim Il Sung, shining august name."

The article said that his august name means the sun.
